Sweet Cream Biscuits
These mini biscuits don't require you to cut cold butter into flour, they just require a fork and heavy cream. Yep, still bad for you. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not a very good biscuit maker. Maybe because I've always lived in the north east. Maybe because I'm afraid of over mixing so I under mix. Anywho, my biscuits are always okay but not light and flaky as they are meant to be.
That said these little guys were easy to throw together. Since there wasn't any butter in the recipe, I decided it was okay to put a little extra on the hot from the oven biscuits. Melissa of Love At First Bite was our host and the recipe is here.

Yum, butter on them straight from the oven? Sounds wonderful. And don't feel bad, I think biscuit making is hard too! Thanks for baking with me this week!
I loved how easy these were! Yours look great.
I think these are the cutest biscuits I've seen today! How small and popable and dangerous!
yours are so round and cute!
I think your biscuits are precious!!!!
They're adorable! :)
I love your little minis. They look delicious! Easiest biscuit recipe ever I think. :)
Hot biscuits and cold butter...can it get any better? I don't think so. I think yours look fine!
yeah, i'm not a great biscuit maker either. they tasted good, tho.
I'm in the west and think I don't have the biscuit gene, either! Even so yours look great (and extra butter, yum!)
butter on these straight from the oven was delicious! :)
Melting butter on a warm biscuit...how can you go wrong? Mine didn't rise as much as I would have liked, but I'll have to try again some time.
I think your biscuits look great! I'll definitely use a smaller cutter next time--they are adorable.
Ooooh yeah, I'm going with that - I've always lived in the Northeast too so maybe that's why my biscuit making skills aren't what they should be :) Still, I think yours look great!
They're adorable! I think they turned out great!
Your little biscuits are adorable.
Cute biscuits! I've always lived in California, so I think I'll blame my lack of biscuit-making skills on that.
For some reason, mine turned out ok - actually rose. Go figure.... I gave up figuring out what to do right (or wrong) and just hope for the best. These DO look great though - and people aren't supposed to know how high they should be anyway - just eat them with jam or honey!
Your biscuits look great. I like small..then I can eat more of them!
Definitely great with butta! I like how rounded yours look.
They look great! I don't think a biscuit is complete without a nice pat of butter.
They look great! And great photo! I've never eaten biscuits much either and I've made them even less - usually just the Pillsbury kind! I have never had luck with them haha! I can't wait to try these out though, they seem so easy! Again, great job!
