The brrrownies that the TWD bakers made for today are really good- I made them in Januaury for my buddy the chocolate/mint fan's birthday. In an effort to make a new (to me, not to the group) recipe for this Tuesday, I made mini versions of the Tart Noire from last week.
These took under 30 minutes to put together. I already had some tart dough in the freezer which I fit into a mini muffin tin. Put together a small batch of ganache and let it set in the fridge. Simple but fun. Served this with some ice cream I made for dinner with the fam. I was testing a weird ice cream flavor- coffee with candied bacon- and wanted to have something in case that was gross. It wasn't gross but wasn't something I would eat everyday. These tarts, however, could find a way into every day.Dharmagirl has the recipe for you.
